About the Flower

Lavender buds, dried whole, carry linalool — the compound behind their calm, fragrant scent. A shorter steep keeps the bloom soft and the cup gentle, never soapy.

Storage

Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Colour and taste may vary batch to batch — that is the herb, not a flaw.

Brewing

1 tsp (approx. 2g) in 200ml water, just off the boil. Steep 3–4 minutes. Steep briefly — the bloom stays soft.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: fragrant, floral, faintly sweet. Taste: soft, delicate, lightly herbal. Colour: pale straw. Caffeine: none. Best time: evening, the hour before sleep.
